美麗拳王（Beautiful Boxer，บิวตี้ฟูล บ๊อกเซอร์）

好看、感人又具深意的好電影真的不多。我覺得《美麗拳王》（Beautiful Boxer，บิวตี้ฟูล บ๊อกเซอร์）就是一部好看、感人又具深意的好電影。




《美麗拳王》講述的是一個真實故事。在故事中，一位泰拳高手後來變性成為了女人。是的，變性也就算了，誰都可以變性，可是陽剛至極的泰拳拳王居然選擇變性成為了陰柔的女人？那樣極不搭調的極端意象，正是整個故事張力最強之處之一。而且影片處理得很自然，並不叫人感到突兀，而且還表現出一種有趣的泰式幽默。

《美麗拳王》是泰裔新加坡導演呂翼謀（Ekachai Uekrongtham，เอกชัย เอื้อครองธรรม）的處女作（超級文化大沙漠新加坡終於出現了一個有國際水準的導演了，呵呵……），電影中的演員大多不是專業演員，飾演主角Nong Thoom（น้องตุ้ม ปริญญา เจริญผล）的Asanee Suwan就真的是名拳師，他不是專業演員，可是表現比許多專業演員還要出色，他把Nong Thoom演得出神入化。Nong Thoom是泰國最家喻戶曉的拳王，20歲不到，就拿下泰拳的羽量級冠軍。Nong Thoom在變性後，現在是曼谷的模特兒。













這部電影不算完美之處，是有些地方還是略嫌撟揉造作，不過不傷其出色的表現，因為和好萊塢比起來，其實算是還好的。而且那些通俗誇張的橋段，其實也無形中拉近了一般觀眾和電影的距離，尤其是當故事是相當驚世駭俗的時候。




《美麗拳王》中，Nong Thoom在幼年、學拳和打擂台賽時，就不斷出現對女人化妝品的興趣等，我想那是造作之處。因為Nong Thoom不是男人重要之處，不是他為女人化妝品的興趣等，而是他的心態。他討厭泰拳的暴力，可是激發他學拳的，不是絕大部分男生想要的名利，而是他對泰拳之美的感動，他拚命打拳是在真正享受那個過程。他參加比賽也不是要爭勝負而是為了要讓父母過更好的生活。他在擂台上擊倒了對方，還憐閔他們，這和男生的心態就很不一樣。當他發現他好友欺騙他時，對他的痛扁，也充分體現出女人被欺騙時憤恨的可怕。




正如之前提到的，陽剛至極的泰拳，和一顆陰柔的女人心，是張力很大的對比。而《美麗拳王》就是要在那樣極端對比中，述說一個自我的掙扎，以及一個追尋自我的故事。Nong Thoom在擂台上幾乎是打遍天下無敵手，可是最令他最奮力打拚的，卻是內心的擂台。

一個成功的泰拳拳王，要付出經歷多大的內心掙扎，忍受別人的異樣眼光及敵意，才能在天人交戰後，獲得力量真誠地面對自己。所以Nong Thoom對採訪她的西方記者說了很有意思的話：「Life will take you on many roads. But only when you look inside, do you find the strength to be yourself?」和「The most difficult thing is “try not to forget what you really want to be”.」




在《美麗拳王》之前，就有兩部很有名的泰國電影，Tony Jaa主演的《拳霸》（Ong-Bak，องค์บาก）和《拳霸2》（Ong-Bak 2: Tom Yum Goong，องค์บาก2），那兩部拳霸系列電影，就很能體現泰拳的威力了，可是它們的成龍式武打暴力，並沒能體現出泰拳真正的美。而《美麗拳王》中，在擂台上對打的，都是專業的拳師，雖然陽剛之氣少了，卻絲毫沒折損泰拳的勁道和速度及威力，而且更體現出泰拳之美。

也可能是文化的關係吧，《美麗拳王》中的泰拳師父Pi Chart，和好萊塢電影或日本漫畫中的武術師父，對徒弟不近人情的嚴格訓練不一樣，Pi Chart是很有人情味的師父，他訓練徒弟，不是為了在擂台上爭勝負，而是要傳承泰拳之美。他是個普通人，他沒教拳時，和大部分泰拳師父去當酒吧保安不同，他寧可選擇在旅館洗衣房安靜地上班。他派弟子去打擂台，是出於贊助者逼迫的無奈，他不爭強好勝，只希望弟子們在擂台上盡力就好，並不把勝負看的很重。

另外值得一提的是1998年11月Nong Thoom曾到日本東京與著名女摔角手井上京子進行了一場別開生面的比賽。而為求真實呈現，這位曾出賽超過三千場摔角賽的傳奇女鬥士，同時獲邀在本片粉墨登場，與由Asanee Suwan所扮演的Nong Thoom再次在東京巨蛋體育館一決高下，重現當年的盛況。基本上，那場比賽的結果似乎是井上京子大敗，她願意重回現場重演敗況，她的氣度其實比她的身材還大太多了（她超過100公斤）:p

【香江新春】沙田車公廟（Che Kung Temple）

離開了九龍城，想說再去看個廟吧，就往沙田搭地鐵過去。原本要在大圍站換車到車公廟站的，可是大圍站內就貼有「往車公廟，請從X出口出站」的標示，想說可能有人流管制吧。就從大圍出站，跟著人潮走到車公廟去。

沙田車公廟（Che Kung Temple）又稱大圍車公廟，通常簡稱為車公廟，是香港新界沙田區大圍一座紀念車公的廟宇，為一座香港二級歷史建築。

大圍車公廟有悠久歷史，它與上環文武廟、竹園的黃大仙廟、佛堂門的大廟，並列為香港四大廟宇。因其地理環境奇特，枕山為圓渾的太陰金星，它建於該山的左邊山腳下，為風水學「太陰乙角」的建法；更有蟾蜍石（應星石）鎮於山頂之上；左前方有獅子山及望夫山鎮守，右前方有針山作貴人守護；城門河之支流更從廟之右前方，蜿蜒流向廟前，故有利於求偏財之應。

車公廟入口兩旁的石柱上，掛有一副對聯：「車轉普天下般般醜心變好，公扶九約內事事改禍為祥」。而廟宇左邊的走廊上，則有多個相士攤檔。沙田車公廟主殿兩旁，分別建有一座鐘樓和一座鼓樓，車公像屹立於主殿中央的神壇上，兩旁擺放著風車，坊間傳說轉動風車可帶來好運。

進入沙田車公廟不需要付入場費，但不少參觀者均會捐獻一些香油以贊助廟宇的修葺開支。

近年，車公廟的部份屋頂瓦片有鬆脫之跡象，故此華人廟宇委員會計劃於2007年中起為廟宇進行重鋪廟頂瓦片之工程，並同時發起「一瓦一願」捐修計劃，共籌得五百萬元善款修葺廟宇，工程第一期於2007年12月動工，2008年8月完工。工程主要包括更換正殿上之綠色瓦片、正脊上增添雙龍寶珠雕塑以象徵幸運、擴建外牆飛簷，並於廣場上增建拜亭等等。10月26日，車公廟舉行了嘉冠雙龍寶珠鎮坐開光儀式，請來道教經師誦經及進行開光科儀。

每年農曆年初三，車公廟就會人頭湧湧、香火鼎盛，各男女善信上香朝拜後多會轉動壇前的銅風車，祈求新一年轉出好運新機。車公誕原為農曆年初二，蓋因年初三是「赤口」，不宜拜年，男女善信於是改於年初三拜車公了，有部分還會於每年農曆三月廿七、 六月初六和八月十六等到廟祭祀。據華人廟宇委員會指，車公廟每年參拜人數達50萬人次。

相傳車公為南宋末年時的一名勇將，籍貫江西南昌五福，因勘平江南之亂有功，被封為大元帥。後來，蒙古大軍犯境，宋軍無力反抗，節節敗退。宋帝昺南下，逃難來港。當時，車公亦在護駕的行列之中，但他在途中不幸病逝。由於他精通醫術，愛民若赤，深受村民尊敬。他逝世後，村民便於西貢蠔涌建車公廟，供奉他祖先三代。

大圍車公廟的建立，有兩個不同的傳說，其一與鎮壓瘟疫有關，而另一則與田心村開村的風水有關。明末崇禎年間，新界各地突然疫症流行。當地鄉民研究史書及縣志，發現車大元帥，不特平賊有功，所到之處，疫症亦立刻停止。因此便建廟供奉，以祈疫症停止。沙田村民原先希望請車公到沙田救災，但蠔涌的父老只准沙田村民請車公的孫兒到沙田供奉。

另一傳說，昔日田心村創村時，曾聘請風水大師到村勘察，發覺村前有三支河流交匯在此。同時，背後枕山奇突，風水極佳，最適合興建一座廟宇，除有座鎮水口的作用外，並可使該村日後丁財兩旺。因此，村民便集資在該處興建這座廟宇，供奉車大元帥。

朋友小文子說，年初一到黃大仙廟上香，年初三到車公廟上香，是許多香港人的傳統習俗。所以我也想年初二過去人應該不會很多吧，結果到了那還是很多人。其實那天早上出門前看電視新聞，就說當天一大早就涌入了一堆人上香。







同樣的，我也搞不清楚要如何上香，所以就算了，只有在殿外敲三聲鼓迎新春，還有轉風車看能不能反轉惡運為好運。進到主殿內，發現可以求籤，可是籤筒要押金HKD 20，嫌麻煩，加上早上在黃大仙祠求過了，萬一車公和黃大仙在MSN或SKYPE提到我兩度求籤，不知會不會覺得我很不專一，於是便作罷。












車公廟的人很多，媒體也到場採訪，在廣場和樓上都可見記者和攝影機。






香港人上黃大仙祠和車公廟，會帶上一種風車，在車公廟，風車又更多更大，不知是那流傳起來的習俗。風車除紙做風輪之外，上面還有神像、關刀、八卦、小旗等道教飾物，俗稱「轉運風車」。據說是持此風車進廟求神，即能走運，使厄運轉為福運。








參觀完了車公廟，就翻旅遊書，看看附近還有什麼好去處，於是便決定去參觀古蹟曾大屋。

後來在搭地鐵時，車廂裡的廣告看板傳出一則有趣的新聞，說香港資深官員劉皇發大年初二車公誕到車公廟代表全港求籤，竟求到一支「下下籤」。那支廿七號籤文為「君不須防人不肖，眼前鬼卒皆為妖。秦王徒把長城築，禍去禍來因自招」，解曰「內有家鬼；自身不安。家宅不吉；求財不遂」。

【香江新春】九龍城侯王古廟（Hau Wong Temple）

九龍城侯王古廟（Hau Wong Temple）是香港九龍的侯王廟，位於黃大仙區近九龍城的聯合道與東頭村道交界，獲香港古物古蹟辦事處評定爲一級歷史建築物，並自1928年開始由華人廟宇委員會管理。

侯王古廟不大，香客也少得可憐。相信大部分旅遊書連提都懶得提，只有當地人才知道有那麼一個小廟吧。可是沒有倒也好，樹大招風，名氣響了遊人多了，參觀起來就不悠閒寫意了。

有關侯王古廟的緣起，說法不一。晚清學者陳伯陶指該廟供奉的侯王爲南宋功臣楊亮節，並於1917年寫成一篇《侯王廟聖史碑記》，碑文載道：「考楊侯古廟所崇祀者乃宋末忠臣楊亮節，宋帝為元兵追逐至於海隅九龍駐蹕，後移師大嶼山駐節大澳，亮節侯護駕並禦元軍，旋楊侯嬰疾，然軍為旁午，仍運籌帷幄，求卻強敵，帶病奉公，不幸藥石無靈，薨逝九龍，葬於城西，歿後追封為王，其公忠體國名垂青史，士人為崇功報德，遂建廟奉祀，藉期庇蔭每於農曆六月六日侯王寶誕」。另一說法認爲侯王是一位曾爲宋帝昺治癒失眠症的楊姓村民。還有人認爲侯王是曾協助宋兵抗元的楊姓人家祖先。

雖然歷史上對侯王的出處未有定案，但一般認同第一種說法，即侯王爲楊亮節，是南宋的國舅，生前封「侯」，死後封「王」，所以叫「侯王」。據稱，南宗末代皇帝（宋帝昺）曾在楊亮節的襄助下南逃至九龍，楊護駕有功，世人敬其忠義，故建廟以紀念。

九龍城侯王廟早於南宋末年至元朝初年已存在，為一座茅屋，以紀念南宋忠臣楊亮節。現存的侯王廟則建於清朝雍正八年（1730年），並曾於乾隆二十四年（1759年）、道光二年（1822年）及光緒五年（1879年）進行修繕。

2005年，九龍城侯王廟動用400萬港元進行大規模翻新，加建了詩詞坊、許願閣等新景點，並於2006年重新開放。

侯王廟是三幢式建築設計，由正門進入是正殿，中央供奉侯王像；左面分別是羅漢堂、佛光堂及龍華堂。羅漢堂及佛光堂前有一個小庭院，庭院牆頭的石灣人物雕塑精美，色彩鮮明，與正殿前古色古香的亭子相連。善信要先經過亭子，才能入廟敬神。









廟內保存了不少具有文化藝術價值的文物，包括多組置身於牆身的石灣浮雕、刻有「侯王座前」四字的鐵香爐是道光二十七年（1847年）九龍司官員許文深所立、一筆寫成的「鵝」及「鶴」字石刻、多面匾額包括「至誠前知」木匾為同治光緒年間駐守九龍寨城廣東大鵬協副將賴鎮邊所送、「折洋鋤盜」為光緒十四年（1888年）大鵬協副將何長清等所送。道光二年（1822年）所立的《重修楊侯王宮碑記》，是九龍黃大仙區最古老的碑刻。

侯王廟所在地各為白鶴山，有「鶴嶺」之稱，有人將「鵝」「鶴」二字刻在廟後山巨石上，號稱別亭，即俗稱「一筆鵝」及「一筆鶴」。「鵝」字一筆寫成，是張壽仁所書，對聯「古石書鵝摹逸少 名山駕鶴仰侯王」，題光緒十三年（1887年）羅浮山黃龍觀道人何罡祥、何罡乾勒石、東官黎慶書，可惜於日治時期被毀；而「鶴」字石刻於光緒十四年鳳山書。現時廟的右邊設有中式園林及方亭，方亭內的「一筆鵝」是1970年摹刻，廟後還有「一筆鶴」石刻。






參觀定侯王古廟，就到小文子家坐一下，他原本打算帶我去荃灣他朋友開的糖水店吃甜點，不過他一直無法聯絡上朋友，也不確定大年初二開不開店，只好作罷，我們到地鐵站道別後，就趕去沙田車公廟。

消失的地平線（No Line on the Horizon）

從2004年推出了How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb之後，U2讓樂迷望穿秋水地經歷了U2生涯上最漫長的等待，約五年後才推出最新專輯No Line on the Horizon，這是U2的第12張錄音室專輯。




這是張很棒的專輯，是出乎我意料中的精彩！不過，其評價卻和他們其他多數專輯一樣，很兩極化。Blender、Rolling Stone和Q給這張專輯五顆星的評價。Mojo和Uncut給四顆星的評價，Entertainment Weekly和BBC Music給高度評價，NME給不錯的評價；可是TIME卻給非常糟的評價，標題就非常不客氣地寫道「U2's Unsatisfied — and Unsatisfying — New Album」。

U2是有卅多年歷史的樂團，他們在八十年代的The Joshua Tree以及在九十年代的的Achtung Baby與Zooropa依然是樂迷心中無法動搖的無敵經典圭臬。 U2超過卅年的搖滾生涯，大致上可以分類為：早期後龐克、英國時代、美國時代，電音實驗時代，和「現在」。所謂的「現在」就是指2000年瀕臨解散又光榮回歸後至今，這段無法歸類的時期。

自從U2推出超級叫好叫座的Achtung Baby與Zooropa，接下來的Pop卻讓U2重重從天上摔到地上！要不是後來推出的All That You Can't Leave Behind讓他們挽回了樂迷的心，否則U2的解散只會是遲早的問題。不過，All That You Can't Leave Behind雖然吸引了許多新樂迷，不過有些死忠樂迷仍然失望，因為U2在All That You Can't Leave Behind，似乎想要穩紮穩打，不太進行實驗性的大膽嘗試了。

基本上呢，我給No Line on the Horizon四顆星半的評價。音樂的喜好是很主觀的，也是為何No Line on the Horizon會超級兩極化。就TIME的評論而言，我就無法接受為何No Line on the Horizon的地位會比U2上一張專輯How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb還差。在我心目中，No Line On The Horizon絕對不是他們最差的專輯，甚至連「不錯」都還不至於。How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb在TIME的評論中，居然和許多專輯的地位一樣，例如All That You Can't Leave Behind，光這一點我就無法接受。

All That You Can't Leave Behind是很棒的專輯，可是How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb在我心目中，卻是一張令人失望的專輯。原因不是因為裡頭的歌不好聽。事實上，How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb是張「很好聽」的專輯，裡頭有好些我喜愛的歌曲。令我大失所望的原因，和不少樂評及樂迷的理由一樣：U2如果只能寫出好聽的歌，他們還能夠算是偉大的樂團嗎？我覺得，How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb是一張沒有太多新意，而且又缺少了什麼的專輯，給我一種失落感。

好吧，或許我和樂評都是主觀的，那來看看廣大的樂迷的評價吧。基本上，我認為Amazon.com上樂迷的評價相當能夠反映出U2樂迷對專輯的普遍評價。迄今No Line on the Horizon在Amazon.com的316位評價者中，平均有3.8顆星。而Achtung Baby呢，則是4.8顆星，幾乎是滿分！接下來呢，是4.6顆星的War和The Joshua Tree，然後4.5顆星的Boy和The Unforgettable Fire，再來是4.3顆星的October，下來是4.2顆星的Pop，再下來是4.1顆星的Rattle and Hum和Zooropa。All That You Can't Leave Behind得到4顆星，而How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb只有3.3顆星:(

由此可見，How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb的確才是U2最失敗的作品。讓U2慘遭滑鐵盧的Pop，其實並沒有太糟。Pop失敗之處，我想有兩點：一、樂迷對U2期待太高，可是U2卻沒交出好成績；二、U2趕著準備PopMart巡迴演唱會，沒有好好用心地錄音，以致品質下降。可是他們後來推出的精選輯中，把Pop的歌曲補錄了音，證實Pop其實是有經典好歌的。

好吧，在我心目中，U2不可撼動的經典是The Joshua Tree，接下來是Achtung Baby，然後是The Unforgettable Fire和No Line on the Horizon、接著是Zooropa和All That You Can't Leave Behind，而Boy、War、October、Rattle and Hum以及Pop則平起平坐，How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb則墊底。

No Line on the Horizon是一張很棒的專輯，不僅是有好歌──好聽的歌而已，而是一張求變的專輯。自從Achtung Baby與Zooropa之後，U2似乎就不太求變了，實驗性的大膽嘗試愈來愈少，也越來愈不太精彩。可是，在No Line on the Horizon中，U2又再度求變了，雖然在程度和效果上，還沒超越Achtung Baby與Zooropa，所以還是讓少數人失望。然而，對我而言，No Line on the Horizon中的實驗性嘗試，是適度的，否則U2再也不再U2，我也會害怕的。

U2和導演Anton Corbijn合作攝製的一齣默片電影Linear，全片使用No Line on the Horizon的所有歌曲當作配樂。No Line on the Horizon推出五個版本：普通CD版、LP版、Digipak版（Album CD及Linear網路下載）、雜誌版（CD加60頁雜誌及Linear網路下載）以及豪華版（Album CD加60頁精裝書及Linear的DVD）。我的是雜誌版。

No Line on the Horizon在許多國家都衝到唱片銷售排行的第一名。也因為和上一張專輯相距甚久，U2寫了很多歌，打算在今年底或明年初，再推出一張專輯，標題暫訂Songs of Ascent，據說會帶有朝聖式的靈幻色彩。

No Line on the Horizon專輯封面採用了深受達達主義與超現實主義啟發的日本攝影大師杉本博司（Hiroshi Sugimoto）一張呈現海洋與天空密合在一起的黑白攝影作品Boden Sea, Uttwil，這是一幅帶著無限禪意的畫面。很不巧的，Taylor Deupree在2006 的專輯 Specification. Fifteen.中也用了同一樣照片，只是後者僅呈現海洋的部分，引起一些爭議。杉本博司讓U2免費使用那張經典照片，條件是不許在照片上加上文字，以及他可以用U2的歌來當宣傳。

No Line on the Horizon的主打歌是Get On Your Boots，充滿動感。是Bono寫在伊拉克戰爭前夕，當時他和寶貝女兒在法國尼斯的遊樂園遊玩。歌詞有嘲諷戰爭前夕，眾人仍舊歌舞昇平的味道。

我最喜愛的歌是Moment of Surrender，Bono描寫人生困境的細膩，令人驚嘆。Moment of Surrender一如One及Stay (Faraway, So close!)，蒼涼卻不絕望，哀而不傷。除了Stand Up Comedy、Magnificent、Fez – Being Born、I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight及Breathe等充滿激情的歌曲，No Line on the Horizon一如其封面般充滿禪意，Cedars of Lebanon冷靜而內斂。講述一名在阿富汗戰事中垂死之士兵的White As Snow，意境悲凉，將會出現在今年的戰爭電影Brothers中。No Line on the Horizon基本上，是一張相當全面的專輯。

為了這張專輯，紐約市長彭博（Michael Bloomberg）還把紐約市第53街命名為「U2 Way」。U2準備在今年8至10月在世界舉辦巡迴演唱會U2 360° Tour，真希望有機會去參加盛舉。

大杯星巴克比較划算！？

美國人是世界最大的消費國家，可是在這次有史以來最嚴重的金融風暴發生後，美國人的生活習慣也發生了大改變，不再能像從前一樣大肆吃喝玩樂了。我們這裡是小大學城，經濟不景氣的影響有限。去年底我們去內華達州雷諾市（Reno, NV）附近玩雪，住Reno的賭場旅館時，就發現白人和過去幾年相比，真的少得可憐，有能力去吃喝玩樂的，反而是平日有積蓄的亞裔。我在灣區的朋友也觀察到，近來有些店家開始陸續倒閉。

在美國百業蕭條時，販售廉價貨的WalMart和速食店如麥當勞，卻逆勢成長。而星巴克卻關了好幾百家，看來美國人的消費習慣真的大幅改變了。三大車廠的SUV也乏人問津，就算現在油價已算是很低了。甚至有經濟學家預測，未來十年，美國人都未必敢想過去幾十年一樣大肆瘋狂消費了！

也因為發生了百年難得一見的經濟危機，近來一些生活經濟學的書也會大賣吧？上次去台灣時，我就在誠品買了本《大杯星巴克比較划算：價格與生活的經濟學》（スタバではグランデを買え! ―価格と生活の経済学），和《經濟自然學》（The Economic Naturalist）一樣是談論日常生活經濟現象的好書。《大杯星巴克比較划算》的作者是日本的小教授吉本佳生，而《經濟自然學》的作者則是康乃爾名校的大牌教授Robert H. Frank。〔〈經濟博物學家（The Economic Naturalist）〉〕






可是，論可讀性、實用性和深度，《大杯星巴克比較划算》則勝《經濟自然學》許多。而且作者畢竟是亞洲學者，書中的舉例雖然都是在日本發生的，但是也比較適用於文化較相近的台灣社會。更何況，日本的經濟停滯蕭條，已經發生了十幾年了！書中提到的定價略策和省錢方法，是經驗之談啊。

過去一整個世紀的政治和經濟實驗，再再證實一件事，就是由政府來直接制定物價，是完全行不通的。政府主導物價，只會造成黑市盛行，或者產能不振。現在不管是資本主義國家，還是共產的中國或越南，或是社會主義的印度，都變成了國際自由市場經濟。而《大杯星巴克比較划算》要談的就是商家如何制定物品的定價，在儘量大賺特賺時，還有顧客願意掏腰包上門。

基本上，只要看看這本書的目錄，就可大略地得知《大杯星巴克比較划算》要討論的有趣生活問題有哪些了：第1章、寶特瓶裝茶飲要要在便利商店還是超市購買？－套利與交易成本將縮小或擴大價差；第2章、電視機與數位相機為何愈來愈便宜？－規模經濟促使家電用品價格下跌；第3章、為何暢銷電影DVD上市愈久價格愈低？－高價賣給不在乎價格的顧客，低價賣給只買便宜貨的顧客；第4章、行動電話計費方式為何格外複雜？－行動電話業者以各種方法區分消費者；第5章、到星巴克應該購買哪種容量的咖啡？－節省交易成本，店家和消費者互蒙其利；第6章、百圓店的低價祕密？－十大低價策略；第7章、為何貧富差距難以消弭？－資產差距遠比所得差距問題嚴重；第8章、兒童免費醫療政策有助於減輕養育子女負擔？－過度依賴政府補助將債留子孫；最9章、為何油價一漲，什麼都漲？－分析日常生活中的附加價值。

基本上，《大杯星巴克比較划算》是本還蠻有趣的書，只是深度還不太夠，因為它沒有物品價格隨著時間的變化，也就是通貨膨脹和通貨緊縮，在生活經濟上的意義等等，是美中不足的。不肯花錢消費，花錢時又斤斤計較，是造成日本長達十年經濟停滯不前的原因。可是《大杯星巴克比較划算》中卻幾乎完全沒有探討到，相當可惜啊。

【香江新春】九龍寨城公園（Kowloon Walled City Park）

九龍寨城清拆後，港英政府將原址改建為公園。原來計劃名為「九龍城寨公園」，但清拆期間經老居民指引，發現了一些古代文物，包括：兩塊寨城南門（即舊日寨城的正門）原址出土的花崗岩石額，刻有「南門」及「九龍寨城」字樣；寨城城牆殘存的牆基、東南兩門的牆基、一條沿寨城內牆建築的排水溝及旁邊的石板街。

第二次世界大戰期間，民眾為免石額被日軍破壞，將之拆下埋於寨城內泥土中。政府遂將公園改名為九龍寨城公園，這些文物都安放於「南門懷古」景區。昔日三進四廂的衙門「大鵬協府」，則在修復和重建後成為展館，陳列了與寨城歷史有關的石碑（包括張玉堂拳書「墨緣」、「壽」字及載有衙門士兵出差配餉開支紀錄的光緒十二年《刊刻會議》）、寨城的歷史圖片等。（註：九龍城寨是分別於1987和1989年1月分2期遷拆，並在1990和 1992年3月完成。）

雖然寨城已經不復存在，但寨城的衙門仍然得以修復及保留在原地。這座衙門，建於百年前，為中國傳統司法機關的象徵，是寨城原址留下來的歷史遺蹟之一。

除此之外，公園內還有其他重要文物，如寨城南門原有兩塊分別刻上「南門」及「九龍寨城」字樣的石額，寨城內殘全的城牆牆基，環繞寨城內牆的排水溝和石板街，位於衙門大門前的兩尊古炮、石碑和柱礎等等…這些古物都分別陳列於公園中的不同景區。

九龍寨城公園跟據江南園林景緻建成，主題景點分為春、夏、秋、冬四個季節。公園亭台樓閣如畫，內有曲廊幽徑，山池流水、樹木成蔭， 還有五彩繽紛的卵石鋪地、刻有詩詞的石碑和竹木雕刻等，令遊人仿如置身於江南一帶的山水園林。公園內的廣蔭庭，擺放了各式各樣的嶺南派四季精巧盆栽，揉合四季景色於一地。公園內的其他景點還包括邀山樓、六藝臺、「歸壁」石雕、童樂苑以及八徑異趣等。

興建工程於1994年5月動工，由一群來自中國的資深技工負責，以確保傳統的設計和構思能再次在公園中展現。興建工程於1995年8月竣工，並在1995年12月22日由香港總督彭定康主持開幕儀式。

整個公園佔地三萬一千平方公尺，共分為八個不同景區，各有特色，但融為一體。公園耗資七千六百萬元興建，由康樂及文化事務署負責管理。
































九龍寨城公園蠻漂亮的，可惜沒時間細細欣賞遊玩。那樣的地方，有時間的話，我可以待上一整天。可是自從去了昂坪看到以彷蘇州園林的昂坪市集後，我就對香港為何不以閩粵的建築為依據設計公園就有些意見，像寨城的衙門就是典型的閩粵建築，反而參考其他省份的建築呢？有可能是香港人的本土意識可能真的很不強吧。




























在忽忽參觀九龍寨城公園時，小文子就說他還要帶我去一個小廟，那是他小時候常去玩耍的地方，裡頭有我會喜歡的一流書法碑文。
